Set of cookware - What is the best kind of pots and how to choose?

There are many types of cookware sets to choose from. There are all kinds of gourmet cookware sets anodized, stainless steel, enamel, non stick and cast iron, just to name a few. The selection is so large that it can be overwhelming.

I consider myself something of an amateur cook. I learned a lot by looking at many of the programs on television gourmet cuisine. I also subscribe to several gourmet-cooking magazines. It also helps if you suffer from in-law is professional chef to cook.

I purchased my first gourmet cookware set many years ago. I bought this set because it sets one of the most respected and very popular at that time. I could also cook dishes that I had. I'm not scratching the surface when you take care not to do with a series of stick. I thought this would be the only pan I have ever needed and I would just add, if necessary. But over time was not the case and would not be the only one I could ever have.

I found the best pan to decide really depends on the dish or a meal is prepared.
For example, if you prepare a meal low in fat could perhaps reduce the amount of a pan in the kitchen fats. If you are the meals that start with roast or brown and then finished cooking in the oven, microwave cookware that I was safe from the burner cooking and could go right into the oven. This also saves cleaning time, because with fewer pots and pans as a cook in this way.

During cooking or preparing meals outdoors I prefer something very strong like iron. It 'also my pan of choice for the production of fried chicken. Many people would be able to be shy in cast iron, because it was already seasoned before cooking with it. But many manufacturers are now selling cast iron cookware is seasoned and ready for use before. Cast iron is probably one of the oldest series pans around. Many grandmothers and great grandmothers had this type of cookware for a lifetime.

In brief: After many years, my experience is that no one really "do everything" set of pots and pans. In my opinion, depends on the type of meal that is prepared and the type of cooking you do.
